Official Contest Rules
No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
Open to U.S. residents 18 years of age or older. If any winner ("Winner") is a minor in his/her state of residence, the prize ("Prize") will be awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian.
Employees of WBZ NewsRadio 1030 ("WBZ"), Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, CBS Corporation, all Head for Home sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") sponsors and/or their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and all immediate family members thereof are not eligible to enter or win. Winner agrees to waive, release and forever discharge any and all rights, claims, and causes of action whatsoever that Winner may have against any sponsor, including WBZ, Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, CBS Corporation, all Head for Home Sweepstakes sponsors, and/or their respective parents, corporate affiliates, licensees, agents, advertising and promotional agencies or a director, officer, employee or shareholder of any of the foregoing for any damage, cause, injury, matter or things whatsoever arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or any use or acceptance of Prize.
How to Win
Sweepstakes will run for five consecutive weeks, Monday through Friday only (August 9th through September 10th) (hereinafter referred to as "Sweepstakes Period"). On weekday evenings between 5:00 - 6:00 PM during the Sweepstakes Period, a WBZ on-air personality will invite listeners to call in to the WBZ contest line at (617) 931-1030. The correct numbered caller will automatically win a $100 gift certificate to City Sports ("Daily Winner"). A total of twenty five (25) Daily Winners will be selected during the Sweepstakes Period. Each Daily Winner will be automatically qualified to win all of the Prizes in one of five specific rooms ("Grand Prize Room") in WBZ's Virtual Home, as follows:
- Week 1: August 9th - 13th (Kitchen)
- Week 2: August 16th -20th (Dining Room)
- Week 3 August 23rd - 27th (Living Room)
- Week 4 August 30th - September 3rd (Master Suite/Bath Room)
- Week 5: September 6th - 10th (Family Room/Home Office)

Selection of (5) Grand Prize Room Winners
Daily Winners are only qualified to win the Grand Prize Room that corresponds to the week in which they've won. One Grand Prize Winner per Room will be drawn at random by WBZ on or about the week of 9/13/99. Grand Prize Room Winners will be notified by mail and/or telephone.
Winners will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release prior to acceptance of any prize. Acceptance of any Prize constitutes Winner's permission to use his/her likeness, voice and name for publicity or promotional purposes at no compensation. Winners will be required to execute a formal grant of said rights. In the event a properly completed affidavit, release, and grant of rights are not returned within four weeks from date of issue, WBZ reserves the right to award Prize to an alternate contestant.
All decisions by Sweepstakes promoters are final and entrants agree to be bound by decisions made by Sweepstakes promoters. Sweepstakes promoters shall not be liable for printing errors or lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries. Participants may call in as often as they like, but there may only be one Winner per household per month. Limit one Prize per Winner. Odds of winning any Prize is dependent on the number of eligible entries.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not changed, modified or substituted for cash. In the event any Prize is forfeited by Winner, Prize will be awarded to an alternate. WBZ reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute prizes of comparable value or to cancel the Sweepstakes at any time. WBZ is not responsible for any technical or telephone problems or malfunctions.
Winner will be solely responsible for sales tax and/or state, local, or federal taxes, if any, connected with Prize. A Form 1099 release will be issued for any Prize valued at $600 or more.
